In accepting the award for Best Digital Album in behalf of Access 2 MYusik, Dennis Lalata, a founding partner of the company said, “We would like to thank the almost 100 creative individuals who were involved in realizing the company’s first album project Access 2 Love which was more than a year in the making.  We did not expect to win being up against formidable competitors but we sincerely thank all the fans who supported our artists and songwriters.”  “We would also like to thank the organizers of Phil Digi Awards—I-sys Solution, Blue Fish and Thumb Interactive, particularly Marel and PM,” said Lalata.

Two other songwriters who contributed songs to Access 2 Love won awards for songs they submitted to Phildigiawards on their own.  Arne Martelino won Best Composer for his song Forever You and Me while Jerome Llama won Best House/Electronica Music for his song “Frequency.”  Martelino’s pop-R&B song entitled “Bakit Nga Ba” is included in Access 2 Love while Llama has a new age song entitled “Love Is” which is included in Access 2 Love.

“We are proud to work with so many emerging songwriters loaded with talent and we are certain that this harvest of awards is just the start of many good things to come for struggling artists like us,” said Debbie Nicodemus, one of the three founding partners of Access 2 MYusik.

Other artists who are part of Access 2 Love also became finalists in various awards categories.

“The Awards Night was truly an experience that we will never forget not only for the awards we and our artists and songwriters received, but also for the support that many famous artists showed by performing that night such as Dulce, Gary V, The Company, and several bands, as well as highly respected personalities from the entertainment industry who were united amid the changing landscape of the music market,” stressed Lalata.
